FOI Disclosure Log

The Australia Naval Nuclear Power Safety Regulator (ANNPSR) Freedom of Information (FOI) disclosure log provides access to information released in response to a FOI request for access to documents.

The Australian Naval Nuclear Power Safety Regulator publishes information released under section 11A of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act). For more information on the request process, review the FOI Requests Page.

The disclosure log requirement does not apply to:

• personal information about any person if publication of that information would be ‘unreasonable’,
• information about the business, commercial, financial or professional affairs of any person if publication of that information would be ‘unreasonable’,
• other information covered by a determination made by the Australian Information Commissioner if publication of that information would be ‘unreasonable’, and
• any information if it is not reasonably practicable to publish the information because of the extent of modifications that would need to be made to delete the information listed in the above dot points.

Redactions have been made to the documents in accordance with the exemptions available under the FOI Act.

Compliance with law in respect of use of material in disclosure log

Under the FOI Act certain protections are provided to the Commonwealth and to a person who supplied a document to the Commonwealth, in respect of the giving of access to the document under that Act. This includes documents on the disclosure log.

If a third party holds copyright in some of the published information, you may need to seek their permission before you can reuse that material.

Similarly, to the extent that any such material might be defamatory, a person who obtains access under the Act to the material, and who disseminates the material, may be liable for defamation in the usual way.
